Truck bomb hits police building in southeast Turkey

At least eight police officers have been killed and 45 wounded in a truck bomb attack at a police headquarters in Cizre in southeastern Turkey, according to Turkish media.
The attack on Friday was followed by an armed battle between the police and attackers.
Ambulances, including helicopters, have been sent to the scene, television channels said. They also showed live footage of smokes rising from the building and rubbles left from the building.
Cizre is in Sirnak, a province that borders both Syria and Iraq and has a largely Kurdish population.
