It is not clear why their track, which they have released for free on Soundcloud, did not make it into the 26th Bond film.
The band had been favourites to perform the theme song after the bookies received a £15,000 bet.
However, it was Sam Smith who did the honours with Writing's On The Wall.
Radiohead singer Thom Yorke wrote on social media: "Last year we were asked to write a tune for Bond movie Spectre. Yes we were.
"It didn't work out but became something of our own which we love very much.
"As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it. Merry Christmas. May the force be with you."
Radiohead are currently working on a ninth album.
