Blogger 'Streaks' In Pants Over Lost UKIP Bet

ger Dan Hodges tweeted last May that he would streak naked "in a Nigel Farage mask whilst singing Land of Hope and Glory" if the party performed better than he forecast.
In fact, UKIP secured 12.6% of the national vote.
However, when he turned up on the cold, wet streets of Westminster on Thursday morning to live up to his promise, there was no sign of the mask.
And with the looming risk of being arrested for nudity in public Mr Hodges did the run in a pair of black shorts and trainers.
As he made his way to the starting point in the rain, he tweeted: "Heading up for Naked Streak. Though it may have to be renamed Naked Swim."
He had asked people to support him by donating money to his two chosen charities - Hope and the Terrence Higgins Trust - and had raised more than £800 by mid-morning.
Supporters could also place a friendly wager on how long it would take him to streak down Whitehall.
Mr Hodges made it from Trafalgar Square to Parliament Square in central London in 3 minutes and 37 seconds and received a cheque for £300 from Ladbrokes, who sponsored the event.
He later described the run in a tweet as "quite invigorating. Would recommend it..."
It is not clear why it took him until January - eight months after the election - to carry out the stunt.
