Skiing Children In Deadly Alps Avalanche

At least four children were seriously injured after suffering cardiac arrest, while an adult, thought to be their teacher, was found unconscious.
Five other youngsters were still missing following the avalanche which reportedly happened on a closed piste around 4pm (local time) in the Les Deux Alpes region.

Two police helicopters and an emergency rescue helicopter are on the scene along with around 30 mountain rescuers.
The victims were found by a ski patrol and have been taken to a hospital in Grenoble.
The group of 10 pupils and an adult was reportedly from Lyon.
Conditions for skiing and hiking have been difficult recently because of heavy snowfall for several days.
