Facebook Job Interview: Key Question Revealed

FACEBOOK Log
Do you have what it takes to make it through an interview at Facebook and actually land a job at the social media giant?
The company's global head of recruiting has revealed the one question that could prove to be make or break for your application.
Miranda Kalinowski said her favourite question to ask interviewees is: "On your very best day at work - the day you come home and think you have the best job in the world - what did you do that day?"
She said that the correct answer would be one that matches Facebook's mission to "give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected".
While not everyone gets asked the question, she said it is one of the most popular.
She told Business Insider: "We want to make sure that we approach recruiting in the same way that we approach the design of the product and the services that we deliver to the world.
"And that's with the focus on connection. We want to connect to our candidates in the recruiting or interviewing process pretty deeply."
She said that those who do land a job with Facebook are quickly made aware of founder Mark Zuckerberg's major goal - to connect the world.
"Anyone who listens to Mark will hear him say that we've still got five billion people to connect," she said.
"No one should be resting on their laurels. That sense of urgency and the energy around it are infectious."
Facebook candidates go through up to five interviews before being offered a job, with phone interviews plus face-to-face meetings.
