Two people have been arrested after a girl died when the bouncy castle she was playing in "blew away by some distance" in Essex.
They are being held on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence following the incident in Harlow Town Park at about 4.15pm on Saturday.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene and treated the child for serious injuries, before taking her to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
But the East of England Air Ambulance Service said she died "despite the best efforts of everyone involved".
It added "Our thoughts are with the friends and family involved on this sad day."
Essex Police has said it is now working with the Health and Safety Executive as part of their investigation, and enquiries are ongoing.
Last year, a bouncy castle collapsed while children were playing on a bouncy castle at the same park.
At the time, it was reported that three children required medical attention from paramedics.
After the incident, Harlow Council officers suggested a number of health and safety improvements, including better stewarding of the event.
