A nine-week-old baby boy who was feared to have been kidnapped from his home in Arleston, Telford, has been found alive.
West Mercia Police said: "Pleased to say missing baby from Telford has been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
Officers had been called to an address on Manor Road shortly before 3pm on Wednesday afternoon.
The baby had last been seen wearing a blue woollen jacket and a cream Babygro with a teddy bear on the left-hand side.
Investigators believed the child may have been snatched by a white woman with dyed reddish brown hair, aged between 30 and 40.
Officers had said she was last seen wearing an army green zip-up jacket, with a small black bag over her shoulder.
An "urgent appeal" had been launched to track the pair down, which was shared hundreds of times on Facebook.
